Dia Dhuit/Hello/Sawaadee and welcome to our website!!!!
From here you will be able to follow our cycling expedition from Thailand to Ireland. We are embarking on this adventure to raise awareness and much needed funds for The Share a Dream Foundation, and their own bid to build a purpose built Dream Village for children in need all over Ireland.
When do we set off?...... On Jan 1st 09 we will set out from South East Asia (Bangkok) to kick start the madness/cycle back to Ireland. This is a mammoth task for ourselves as individuals, as we are novices to cycling/biking, but feel that we have to wherewith-all to succeed in the challenge ahead of us. We hope to embark on a great adventure and to see some wonderful places in the world. Our route (subject to a changes) will see us through Thailand, Laos, Nepal, India, Pakistan Iran, Turkey, Greece, Albania,Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Solvenia, Serbia, Austria, Germany, France and then back home to Ireland and cover a distance of approx 15,000km. We would hope that it would take us 6 months to cycle, averaging 100 km per day. Enjoy the website.
