Day 160 & 161 Salzburg - Munich (Germany)(140km) - Distance travelled so far 9,657km "Pauls back!!"
We said our fairwells to Sarah and headed off again, this time with Paul on board again. We found it a bit difficult to get out of the city.
Leaving Salzburg
Mr Paul Ryan, back again
The thaireland trio were on the road again and feeling good. We took it easy for the first 40kms. The terrain was nice and flat, a change from continious climbing.
The city of Salzburg is only a few kilomters from the German border. None of us noticed crossing the border. No sign of a German flag, or anything indicating where we were.
Strawberry pickers on route
Designer poll in the middle of a town
One way of keeping a horse fit
Thai and Buddha flags in Germany!!
Thankfully we ain't cycling anywhere near these boys...
Entering Wasserberg
A pretty little church!
We had originally intended on making Munich on the same day, but after a rest in Wasserberg we decided to call it a day and find a campspot.
Campsite outside Wasserberg
We were slow to rise the morning after knowing we had only 50kms to Munich. We arrived into the city at 1pm for yet another days rest. This is more like it!!!
